Founded in 2019 by Dr. Gordon Forbes, a dedicated emergency medicine physician, Ormond Manor Assisted Living Memory Care was created with one simple mission: to offer the level of care he would expect for his own mother.
While searching for an assisted living community for his mother, Dr. Forbes found many options lacking the warmth, safety, and personal touch he envisioned for her. Determined to raise the standard, he built Ormond Manor — a place where residents are treated like family, and care goes beyond basic needs.
Today, Dr. Forbes and our team proudly live out this vision every day through our “Best Care Anywhere” philosophy. At Ormond Manor, we combine compassion, respect, and professionalism to help residents feel at home, stay engaged, and live with dignity and joy.

Ormond Manor was designed to provide our residents with a luxurious, comfortable living environment that provides easy access to all amenities. Our private suites surround a central atrium that serves as the hub of all dining and activities. There are no long hallways or areas that would be difficult to access for residents with mobility limitations. Our screened patio and covered lanai provide residents with outdoor areas for recreation, dining and relaxation.
